Day-1 Arrival at Paro
On arrival at Paro International Airport, you'll receive a warm welcome from our representative and be driven to your hotel. Nestled in a beautiful mountain landscape and amongst traditional Bhutanese buildings, Paro is the ideal place to experience the Kingdom of Bhutan. Once you have arrived at your hotel, relax and acclimatize for the day.
Take a leisurely stroll in the beautiful streets of Paro in the evening. Delve into local markets, wander through traditional handicraft shops and enjoy Bhutan's peace and tranquility. A detailed briefing will be given by your trekking guide on the upcoming expedition which will cover trekking routes, safety regulations and equipment. Stay at Paro for the night. -
Day-2 Trek Preparation and Paro sightseeing
Have breakfast and then take a leisurely tour of Paro. See one of Bhutan's finest examples of traditional architecture, the magnificent Paro Dzong, which is a religious and administrative centre. Walk to the National Museum of Bhutan, where you can see interesting exhibits of Bhutan's history, culture, traditions and wildlife. Later, head to one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan, Kyichu Lhakhang, which has peaceful surroundings and is of spiritual importance. The rest of the day is available for final preparations for the trek, check of equipment and relaxation before starting the trek. One Night Accommodation in Paro.

Day-3 Trek to Shana and Soi Thangthangkha
After an early breakfast, head up to Shana from where the famous Jomolhari Trek begins. Once you've got the permits, you can start your trek along the river of beautiful Paro Chhu. The trail meanders through thick pine, fir and rhododendron forests and then through spectacular mountain streams and traditional wooden bridges.
Moving on, the quiet environs allow for the chance to come across Himalayan birds and Bhutan's natural beauty untouched. This section has a gradual ascent, which makes it comfortable and enjoyable and allows a trekker to acclimatize to the gradual increase in elevation. Reach the picturesque campsite of Soi Thangthangkha, nestled among the majestic mountains, the trees of the alpine woodland and the rushing rivers. Overnight camping at Soi Thangthangkha.

Day-4 Soi Thangthangkha to Jangothang
Following the breakfast, trek through one of the beautiful parts of the Jomolhari Trek. The trail runs along the scenic Paro Chhu River, and gradually rises through the alpine landscape, and the yak pastures and traditional villages. Enjoy a great view of the snow-covered peaks, waterfalls and crystal clear mountain streams along the way.
At higher altitudes, the majestic Mount Jomolhari (7326 metres) starts taking centre stage of the landscape, and provides stunning picture taking opportunities. At Jangothang (Jomolhari Base Camp) one of the most beautiful trekking campsites in Bhutan. The camp site is surrounded by high peaks of the Himalayas, glaciers and large open meadows, which provide breathtaking panoramic views! Day-5 Acclimatization at Jangothang
This day is dedicated to acclimatising so that the body can adapt to the high elevation and also time to see the amazing environment. Following breakfast, relax and take a leisurely day hike to viewpoints that also offer a view of Mount Jomolhari, glaciers and pure alpine valleys. Great opportunities for photography and bird watching are available on the short hike.
Around Jangothang there are lots of Himalayan wildlife such as blue sheep, Himalayan marmots and in distant mountain areas, even the rare snow leopard.Laghu Banyan tree is a location for a short time stay.Jangothang is an overnight camping site.

Day-6 Jangothang to Lingshi
After breakfast you'll be at one of the most rewarding days on the trek as you cross at an altitude of about 4,890 metres, the spectacular Nyile La Pass. Its gradual ascent will lead trekkers to marvelous panoramic views of Mount Jomolhari, Mount Jichu Drake, the surrounding glaciers and endless Himalayan peaks. Cross the pass, through wide alpine meadows, yak herds and lovely mountain valleys and arrive at the charming village of Lingshi. Take a stroll through the old Lingshi Dzong, high on a hill overlooking the valley. The fortress offers an interesting glimpse into the country's mountain culture and history. Day-7 Shodu from Lingshi
Post breakfast head on up and over yet another scenic mountain pass with amazing Himalayan scenery as the background. The path passes through thick woods of rhododendron, juniper and fir, then in the spring season—it is wide open, strewn with colourful wildflowers from such alpine areas.
Stroll through the beautiful mountain scenery, unspoiled rivers and tranquil nature. After the high ground pass towards Shodu, it descends down through beautiful streams and waterfalls for a relaxing walk. At the campsite, take in the pure air, and the calm of the pristine nature of Bhutan. Overnight Camping on Shodou elwood For a day or two.

Day-8 Shod to Barshong
Following this peaceful stretch of Thimphu Chhu River, travel further on through beautiful forests of rhododendron, birch and pine, and into the daylight hours. This trail is a series of very gentle uphills and downlows which enable visitors to be able to enjoy Bhutan's pristine wilderness in a leisurely manner. Enjoy jaw-dropping views of mountain vistas, waterfalls and wooden bridges, as well as lovely crystal-clear streams, on the way.
Later, make it to Barshong where you have the opportunity to visit the historic Barshong Dzong, a little fortress built on the top of a ridge to the valley. The campsite is surrounded by lush vegetation, and is located in a scenic and peaceful area.

Day-9 Travel to Dolam Kencho and Depart for Thimphu
After breakfast, see the last day of trekking as you wind your way through lovely forests, picturesque villages and terraced fields towards Dolam Kencho. The path descends and becomes easier as you slowly get out of the higher Himalayas and immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of the valley and peace of the countryside. At the trek end, make an appointment with your driver and proceed on the road to the energetic capital of Bhutan - Thimphu. Upon arriving at the hotel, stop and wander around the local markets, the local traditional handicraft stores and its cafés. It's a fantastic opportunity not only to buy souvenirs but to remember the fantastic trekking experience that you had! Stay in Thimphu for the night.

Day-10 Thimphu to Paro
From Thimphu you will be picked up by car at breakfast time for your onward journey to Paro International Airport. As per your travel plans, soak in the gorgeous scenery of valleys, rivers and mountains of Bhutan in the last hours of driving.
