The Everest Base Camp Trek is a classic Himalayan journey that takes you to the foot of the highest mountain in the world - Everest. This 12-day trek offers stunning views, Sherpa villages, monasteries, and even a taste of high-altitude trekking.The trek begins in Kathmandu with flights over the Himalaya to the Lukla airport, before heading to the beautiful Himalayan villages, leading to the world-famous Everest Base Camp.

From bustling cities to serene landscapes, each day has been thoughtfully planned to provide memorable experiences, local interactions, and seamless travel across destinations.

  • Day-1 Day 1: Fly to Kathmandu - Trek Preparation +

    Land in Kathmandu airport and be greeted by your representative. Head to the hotel for a rest.Later in the day, receive a comprehensive brief on the trek, the route, safety measures, and precautions for high altitude, equipment check. It's also time to finalise permits and arrangements.Stay in Kathmandu.
     

  • Day-2 Day 2: Fly Lukla - Trek to Phakding +

    Scenic flight to Lukla, one of the world's most exciting airports set high in the mountains, enjoying the fantastic views of the Himalaya. After landing, start your trek through gorgeous trails, small Sherpa villages, prayer wheels and suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Reach Phakding, a beautiful riverside village. Stay at a teahouse.

  • Day-3 Day 3 : Phakding - Namche Bazaar +

    Start walking through forests of pines, crossings of rivers and suspension bridges. Cross into Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Area with diverse flora and fauna. The climb continues up to the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu, Namche Bazaar. Accommodation in Namche Bazaar.
     

  • Day-4 Day 4: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar +

    Acclimatisation day. Enjoy a short trekking to Everest Viewpoint for the first ever view of Mount Everest and other peaks such as Ama Dablam.
    You can head out to visit the local bakeries, cafes, monasteries and market place later on. Stay at Namche Bazaar.
     

  • Day-5 Day 5 : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche +

    Continue on pleasant ridges with views of the Himalaya. You can see Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.Arrive in Tengboche and visit the famous monastery, a major pilgrimage site.Stay at a teahouse.

  • Day-6 Day 6: Tengboche - Dingboche +

    Walk downhill through forests and across suspension bridges, then start to ascend into the mountains. The views open up, are drier and more dramatic.
    Reach Dingboche, a picturesque village nestled amongst mountains.
    Stay at Dingboche.
     

  • Day-7 Day 7: Dingboche Acclimatization Day +

    Acclimatisation day. You can also go for a hike to Nagarjun hill to enjoy the views of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu ranges. This will get you adjusted for high altitude trekking. Accommodation in Dingboche.
     

  • Day-8 Day 8 : Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche +

    Hike through steep and rocky landscape, glacial moraines, and memorials to climbers who have died in the Everest region. Approach Lobuche with an impressive view of the mountains. Stay in a teahouse.
     

  • Day-9 Day 9: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep +

    Walk down to Gorakshep, the last village before Everest Base Camp. After a brief break, head towards the iconic base camp.Visit Everest Base Camp, base camp of the highest mountain - Mount Everest. Stay at Gorakshep.

  • Day-10 Day 10: Sunrise at Kala Patthar - Down to Pheriche +

    Wake up early and head to the best view point of Everest, Kala Patthar, for a glorious sunrise over Everest. Return to Pheriche after breakfast, hiking through beautiful trails and landscapes.Accommodation in Pheriche.
     

  • Day-11 Day 11: Trek Back to Namche Bazaar +

    Trek back through the valley, forest and suspension bridges. Delight in the shifting view as you drop in altitude.Stay overnight in Namche Bazaar for a restful night and to celebrate your success.
     

  • Day-12 Day 12: Trek back to Lukla - Fly to Kathmandu +

    Trekking back to Lukla. Post formalities, enjoy a flight back to Kathmandu.
    Go to the hotel or onward transfer with the wonderful memories of Everest region
