  • Day-4 Kaziranga park +

We are starting our wildlife exploration in Kaziranga Park today, for we will wake up a little early and experience our first ever safari into the park’s jungle. In Kaziranga, we will enjoy the safari in the central area called Kohora, which is often the smallest area in the park where the density of horned rhinos is the highest. However, the safari will take us on the very narrow path of the park into the elephant grass and it can increase the chances of approaching the wildlife. This core area of the park is a mixture of grassland and forest.

It also has a number of bodies of water, which is ideal for birdlife and for pelicans, storks and stingers, since there is a wide variety of water bodies within the park. Later we return to the resort for breakfast.

We will resume our safari in the centre of the park after breakfast. Afterwards, we will board the open jeep for the game drive in the park and enjoy wildlife viewing in the central part of the park. In addition to rhinos, the mammals found here include deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and tigers.

  • Day-5 Kaziranga park +

Named Agoratoli, the eastern chain of Kaziranga is mainly made up of forests and it is legendary for its wide variety of birds. While we explore Agoratoli, a visit to Lake Shola will take us to the Shohola tower where we will be able to stop for a while to observe the birds and other animals. Perhaps this will be the last stop of our jeep safari in the Eastern region. Later on, we will return back for lunch at the resort.

This was established as a tiger reserve project in 1973 and declared a park in 1973. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site (endangered), a planned tiger reserve and a biosphere reserve – a unique distinction.
