  • Day-1 Arrival Delhi +

    Welcome on arrival at Delhi airport by our representative or driver then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day-2 Delhi to Leh (3500 mts/11480 ft) +

    After delicious breakfast transfer to the airport for catch flight to Leh. Welcome on your arrival at Leh airport by our representative or driver. Later transfer to your pre booked hotel. Rest of the day for getting acclimatized. Overnight at the guesthouse.

  • Day-3 Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis +

    On today you’ll go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries during this area.
    Shey Gompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It won’t to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are many Stupas and Gompas built round the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal within the beginning of 17’Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is that the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa.
    Thiksey Gompa, on the brink of Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is taken into account to be one among the foremost beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order.
    Hemis, about 45 kms south of Leh it’s one among the foremost famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded within the early 17’Th century.   • Day-4 Drive - Lamayuru (3600 mts/11810 ft) via Alchi (15O kms/ 4-5 hrs) +

    Toward the beginning of the day after breakfast drive Lamayuru via Alchi. Visit the most seasoned Alchi Monastery and Lamayuru.Dinner and overnight stay in Guest house.

  • Day-5 Lamayuru - Wanla over Prinkti La (3800 mts/12465 ft)5 hrs +

    From Lamayuru religious community descend towards the town, cross the stream, climb step by step upward the Prinkti la (3800 m) dive into the chasm, reach Shilla, crossing the scaffold and came to at Wanla.

  • Day-6 Wanla - Hinju (4 hrs) +

    Now follow the Yapola River on the left and after 2 hours reach Penjila. Continue up to the valley, leading astray at right angles, after one hour trekking leave the valley on the left, and after one hour arrives at Hinju.

  • Day-7 Hinju - Sumda over Konzke La (4950 mts/16235 ft) 7 hrs +

    The trail goes through the Hinju village, crossing the Hinju valley; leave another valley on the left and ascent to the pass. Last ascent is steep. Again from the culmination of the Konzke La, long plummet to the fields, follow the path on the Left Bank along the mountain side. Here path gets lost, rather on the brink of the river. There are circular walls. Before Sumda there’s a glocked cave, numerous nice campsites at the sting of the river, but continue along the Left Bank along the mountainside till Sumda.

  • Day-8 Sumda - Base of Dundunchenla (4200 mts/13775 ft) 3 hrs +

    This is a brief day to scale back the fatigue of travel length between Sumda to Chilling. A brief Steep trail for 1.30 hours and of the gradual running up camp at the bottom of the pass.

  • Day-9 Base - Chilling more Dundunchenla (4700 mts / 15 416 ft) 6 hours +

    2 hour trek to pass, after getting off the pass south, steep slopes and continue towards a valley that gets narrower and narrower, finally opens out at Chilling. Chilling until there’s not much water. Chilling may be a village of craftsmen, here Peoples work with metals like copper, tin, silver and make ladles Tchang pots, tea pots etc.

  • Day-10 Chilling - Shingo (5-6 hours) +

    From Chilling follow the Zanskar river upstream for about ½ km., Then crossed within the car (by paying) then there’s a well defined path, Sakaya is 2 hours from the river crossing After a touch faraway from Skaya, join the Markha valley trail ride. From here, Shingo with a 2-3 house is 3 hours away. Camped here for the night.

  • Day-11 Shingo - Ganda La (4700 mts / 15 416 ft) 4 hrs +

    The climb to Ganda la, it’s two hours, easily up and down the gorgeous valley and after passing the village of Yurutse (with beautiful houses), cross the river on the proper bank, crossing the steep cliffs resulting in the valley Rumbak Gompa. From Rumbak Gompa, there’s a route joining Spituk via Zingchan. Doesn’t pass in between, all are going to be easy.

  • Day-12 Rumbak Gompa - basic stock (4300 mts / 14 105 ft) over the stock La (4900 mts / 16 072 ft) 7 hours +

    After passing this beautiful stopping valley, three hour steep climb up to the highest of the pass. right down to the bottom camp and travel farther to the Stock Kangri base.

  • Day-13 Climbing Stock Kangri (6130 mts / 20 107 ft) +

    It is one among the highest most easily expressed as trekking peaks in Ladakh region, one can climb from the bottom of the Lower directly or also shifted camp to base camp higher. It takes almost 10 hours from base camp to base camp, climbing equipment required minimum.

  • Day-14 Descend into the stock (5-6 hours) +

    In the morning after breakfast drive to Stok, visit Stock castle, night trip to Leh and stay overnight at the guest house.

  • Day-15 Leh +

    Day is for relaxing. overnight at the guest house.

  • Day-16 Leh-Delhi +

    After delicious breakfast at hotel transfer to the airport to board your flight for Delhi. Welcome on arrival in Delhi take a guided half-day. Evening transfer to International airport to catch onwards flight

Stock Kangri is thought to be a difficult trekking peak that can only be chosen by experienced trekkers who are physically fit. High-altitude trekking experience in the past is very desirable.

Rudimentary knowledge of mountaineering can be useful but not essential. With adequate acclimatization and leadership of expert mountaineering instructors the climb is possible to fit trekkers.

The most suitable months to make ascent on Stock Kangri are the months between June to September when weather conditions are fairly consistent and the route is available.
