With a well-planned Rajasthan tour package, or the Golden Tour Package India, tourists get to see for themselves India’s cultural richness and historical grandeur. On this journey, almost every destination creates its own unique charm, from the historic lanes of Delhi to the romantic lakes of Udaipur.

Begin the expedition in Delhi, where old and new merge. Gad about famous locations like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb. Explore the buzzing Cinnamon Chowk and relish local delicacies like chaat, butter chicken, and parathas. Shop in Dilli Haat and Sarojini Nagar, where finding authentic Indian souvenirs is a pleasure.

Travel to Agra, the town of Taj Mahal, an important stop on any Golden Triangle & Tiger Tour. With the philosophical aura golfing around white marble superstructure, one should aim to crown it into his-morning view. Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh come next. The mechanical working of the Saxon-Mughal Kitchen must distract the remaining time of the day; especially petha and kebabs.

A thirty-minute drive brings you to Fatehpur Sikri-an old Mughal-style city with splendidly carved red sandstone monuments like Buland Darwaza and Jama Masjid, which ought to be your must-see on Golden Tour Package India.

Then, visit Abhaneri for the impressive Chand Baori, one of the oldest and largest stepwells in India and a window into ancient water-harvesting technology.

Next, head out to Jodhpur, Rajasthan’s Blue City. Visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, stroll through Sardar Market, and enjoy street foods like mirchi vada, mawa kachori, and pyaaz kachori.

Find peace and spiritual artistry in Ranakpur at the intricately carved Ranakpur Jain Temple set in the scenic Aravalli Hills-a rarely included stop on most Rajasthan tour packages.

Visit Udaipur, the City of Lakes, to conclude your tour. Explore the royal City Palace and go for a boat ride on Lake Pichola followed by some shopping in the old town markets. Dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, and malpua are among the delights to be tried in Udaipur cuisine.

  • Day-1 Arrive at Delhi +

Our Journey to India Begins. Our first destination is Delhi, the most populous city in the country—a truly unique place that perfectly embodies the extraordinary richness and contrasts of this incredible nation. We arrive in the evening or at night, and upon landing at the airport, we are greeted by our local assistant who will accompany us to the hotel.

  • Day-2 Delhi Sightseeing +

Discovering Delhi – The Many Faces of India. Delhi is India’s most populous and cosmopolitan city, a kaleidoscope of cultures, colors, and contrasts. Originally composed of seven ancient cities, today’s Delhi is a fusion of these historic settlements—a reflection of the incredible diversity of this country. We begin our day with a visit to the impressive Jama Masjid, the grand mosque located in the heart of Old Delhi. Afterwards, we explore the lively alleys of the old city on a cycle rickshaw. Bustling bazaars, vibrant colors, a symphony of sounds, and the fragrance of spices fill the air—our first true taste of India. We dive into the chaotic charm of Chandni Chowk, the pulsing heart of Old Delhi. Here, everything comes together: crowded shops, street vendors, sacred cows, monkeys, food stalls, tangled electric wires, and an endless stream of people—an explosion of life beyond imagination. On our way back, we drive past the Red Fort (exterior view), an iconic monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan. In the afternoon, we enjoy a panoramic tour of Lutyens’ Delhi, the British-built center of the capital, with its wide tree-lined avenues, stately government buildings, the Parliament House, diplomatic enclaves, and the imposing India Gate. We conclude the day with a visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi’s most prominent Sikh temple, offering us a first, intimate glimpse into Indian spirituality. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day-3 Delhi – Agra (240 Kms /4-5h) +

Before leaving Delhi, we visit the Qutub Minar, the oldest surviving tower in India and a remarkable example of early Indo-Islamic architecture. Next, we stop at the Lotus Temple, built in 1986 and dedicated to the Bahá’í faith—one of the world’s youngest religions. Open to people of all beliefs, the temple invites everyone to pray or meditate in silence beneath its iconic lotus-shaped dome. We then drive to Agra, once the splendid capital of the Mughal Empire. Upon arrival, we visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a powerful symbol of Mughal grandeur. Its red sandstone walls enclose palaces, audience halls, and courtyards that tell the story of a bygone imperial age. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day-4 Agra – Fathepur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur (250 Kms / 5h) +

The best time to visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) is undoubtedly at sunrise, when the first light of day casts a soft glow on the white marble, enhancing the monument’s ethereal beauty. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After breakfast, we depart for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. En route, we stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a fascinating ghost city built by Emperor Akbar and abandoned just fourteen years after its creation. In the afternoon, we visit one of the most extraordinary landmarks of our journey: Chand Baori, a 9th-century stepwell in the village of Abhaneri. This architectural marvel descends into the earth in a mesmerizing geometric pattern of steps—a testament to the ingenuity of ancient Indian engineering. By sunset, we arrive in Jaipur, where we check into our hotel for the night.

  • Day-5 Jaipur Sightseeing +

We begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop just outside Jaipur. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the fort is renowned for its richly decorated halls and mirrored interiors, offering a glimpse into the opulence of Rajput architecture. We descend from the fort by jeep and return to Jaipur. In the afternoon, we visit the Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary astronomical observatory and another UNESCO site, where ancient instruments still measure time and track celestial movements with remarkable precision. Later, enjoy a stroll through Jaipur’s colorful bazaars, where vibrant textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts are on display. There will be free time for shopping or relaxing at the hotel. This day perfectly captures the royal charm and cultural essence that define the Wonders of North India Trip.

  • Day-6 Jaipur – Jodhpur (350 Kms /5h) +

After breakfast, we depart for Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, we visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, one of the most majestic forts in India, towering above the city and offering breathtaking panoramic views. Next, we explore the Jaswant Thada, a beautifully carved white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. We then take a stroll through the vibrant local bazaar, where the narrow lanes are lined with shops selling spices, textiles, and handicrafts. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day-7 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (250 Kms / 4-5h) Jaipur +

Next, visit the Jagdish Temple, home to several remarkable statues and a fine example of Indo-Aryan architecture. Later, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, offering splendid views of the city’s palaces and ghats, followed by a visit to the Jag Mandir, a magnificent 17th-century palace set on an island in the lake.
