  • Day-1 Welcome to Bhutan -Landing in Paro +

    Reach the Paro international airport, one of the most beautiful airports of the world, made up of the gigantic Himalayas mountains. Our representative will welcome you to the hotel and take you to your hotel. Check-in and some relaxation time later, start sightseeing the scenic Paro Valley. The town is characterized by a peaceful environment, traditional Bhutanese houses and beautiful mountainous landscape. You can go and see some of the nearby attractions such as Rinpung Dzong. It is also called the Fortress of the Heap of Jewels, a great monastery and fortress, it is one of the best examples of traditional architecture of Bhutan. It is a religious and administrative hub.
    National Museum of Bhutan. The museum, which is situated above the Paro Dzong, exhibits Bhutan history, culture, traditional art, ancient weapons and religious artifacts. Local Market Walk. Overnight in Paro.
     

  • Day-2 Tiger Nest Monastery Field Trip +

    Following breakfast, gear up to the most significant of the tour, the trip to the world-recognized Tiger Nest Monastery also known as Taktsang Monastery.
    Tiger Nest is the most iconic and the most religious monastery in Bhutan, located dramatically on a cliff, approximately 3,120 meters above sea level. Guru Padmasambhava, according to legend, flew here on the back of a tigress, and meditated here, and it is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Bhutan.
    The walk up the monastery is not only spiritual but also breathtaking. The path goes through pine forests adorned with prayer flags and has breathtaking panoramic views of Paro Valley. The hike is usually a round trip, which is about 4 to 5 hours, based on the walking speed. Visitors are also allowed to rent ponies to do some of the uphill rides. Upon arrival at the monastery, visit its prayer halls, meditation caves and sacred temples as you enjoy the spiritual ambiance of tranquility. On the way back, have a lunch break at the viewpoint cafeteria where you can see the monastery and the mountains around it. Thereafter, proceed with sightseeing in Paro where Kyichu Lhakhang is visited. It is among the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan constructed in the 7 th century. The temple is famed to be spiritually relevant and serene. We will be able to visit Drukgyel Dzong (View Point) , the remains of this ancient fortress which used to guard Bhutan against the invasion of Tibet. During sunny days, there are some breathtaking scenes of Mount Jomolhari. Go back to the hotel with a happy day. Spend the night in Paro.
     

  • Day-3 Leaving Paro +

    Some leisure time after breakfast to imbibe the beauty and tranquility of Paro Valley. You can also take a brisk morning walk in the valley, go to local cafes in the area or just rest and enjoy the serene mountain environment prior to leaving.
    Then, leave the hotel and go to the Paro International Airport to continue your trip. Depart Bhutan with the invaluable memories of old monasteries, splendid landscapes, hospitable Bhutanese people and spiritual tranquility.
