  • Day-1 Arrival in Ahmedabad - The Cultural Introduction +

     

    Reach Ahmedabad, the cultural capital of Gujarat. Once you have checked in at the hotel, start learning about the history of the city.

    See the Sabarmati Ashram and then stroll into the old city pools, narrow lanes full of havelis made of wood and secret temples. During the evening, visit a local market or have local Gujarati food. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

     

  • Day-2 Ahmedabad - Little Rann of Kutch +

     

    Morning: Breakfast, then drive out into the Little Rann of Kutch, a salt desert environment, home to the Indian Wild Ass, an endangered species. Reserve in a country resort along the desert. During the afternoon, engage with the local communities who are salt farmers and cattle rears. Towards evening take part in a silent sunset on the wide white plains. Stay over Little Rann.

     

  • Day-3 Little Rann - Patan +

     

    Start the day by going on a guided walk or riding a jeep in the desert scenery. Breakfast and drive to Patan, an ancient Gujarat capital.

    See the great Rani ki Vav, which is a multi-tiered stepwell and a world heritage site because of its elaborate sculptures and mythological motifs. Visit Patan Patola weaving houses later where traditional double-ikat textile is still being produced manually. Overnight stay in Patan.

     

  • Day-4 Patan - Modhera - Polo Forest +

     

    Breakfast, then drive to Modhera Sun Temple which is a masterpiece of the architecture of the Solanki era. Visit the temple complex, which is made up of a step tank and assembly hall, which is intended to be cosmic aligned.

    Go to Polo Forest which is a minor forested area bordering the Aravalli hills. Upon arrival, one can have a scenic stroll through the ruins of old temples, concealed in the trees. Accommodation near Polo Forest.

     

  • Day-5 Polo Forest - Idar +

     

    Breakfast, then go to Idar, a small town between the lofty granite mountains.

    Visit some of these villages of the locals, see how they live, their agricultural techniques and their folk ways. Go to small hill-top temples with views of the landscape around. The night is dedicated to leisure and the experience of the simplicity of rural Gujarat. Overnight stay in Idar.

     

  • Day-6 Idar - Bhuj +

     

    Breakfast, drive to the cultural centre of Kutch, Bhuj. On the way, go through the villages of embroidery, leatherwork and metal work. On arrival, be the Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal, which are a scream of Indo-European architecture. Overnight stay in Bhuj.

     

  • Day-7 Bhuj - Departure +

     

    Check out after breakfast and get to Bhuj Airport or Railway Station to continue traveling. The trip ends with profound culturally rich experiences and valuable experiences in the less popular parts of Gujarat.
