In the journey travellers get to observe ancient dzongs (fortresses), traditional arts and crafts, local markets, beautiful Himalayan sceneries and original Bhutanese way of life. The most significant thing to see in the tour would be the visit to the Tiger Nest Monastery, the world-famous monastery which is located on a cliff above the Paro Valley.   • Day-1 Arrival at Paro -Transfers to Thimphu +

    At the airport at Paro, you will be picked and greeted most warmly. Start your scenic journey to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, drive through the beautiful mountain valleys, rivers and traditional villages. Following hotel check-in and rest, go on local sightseeing.Tour to Memorial Chorten that is One of the most significant Buddhist sites in Bhutan whereby people come there every day to pray and meditate.

    Buddha Dordenma Statue A gigantic golden statue of Buddha that is located over Thimphu Valley providing spectacular panoramic views. Visit the local markets of Bhutanese handicrafts, textiles, paintings and souvenirs. Experience the serene environment in the Bhutanese capital. Spend the night in Thimphu.
     

  • Day-2 Sightseeing in Thimphu- Transfer to Punakha +

    Sightseeing in Thimphu after breakfast. Tour Tashichho Dzong A beautiful fortress-monastery where the offices of the King and the central monastic body of Bhutan are located. National Institute of Zorig Chusum is also popularly referred to as the School of Traditional Arts where students are taught the thirteen traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan.

    Motithang Takin Preserve is the nature reserve of the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin. Afterwards, proceed to Punakha, the beautiful town of Bhutan through the scenic Dochula Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Bhutan with colorful prayer flags and 108 memorial chortens. Have pleasing sightseeing of the Himalayan mountain ranges in the ride. Check-in at the hotel. Spend the night in Punakha.
     

  • Day-3 Sightseeing Punakha - Transfer to Paro +

    After breakfast, start sightseeing in Punakha which was the former Bhutan capital. Punakha Dzong This is situated where the Pho Chhue and Mo Chhue rivers meet and it is regarded as one of the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan. Suspension Bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan and with great river and valley views. Chimi Lhakhang is also widely recognized as the Fertility Temple, a sacred monastery that is related to Lama Drukpa Kunley also known as the Divine Madman. Subsequently, return to Paro by the beautiful Himalayan scenery. Arrive and check into the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at Paro.

  • Day-4 Tiger Nest Monastery trip +

    The morning is then followed by the visit to the most renowned and sacred place in Bhutan, the Tiger Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery). The monastery is located on a cliff side, approximately 3,120 meters above the sea level, and it commands a spectacular view of Paro Valley. The walk to the Tiger Nest is through pine trees, prayer flags and picturesque mountain walks. The increase is generally between 4-5 hours round trip going by speed. Get to know the prayer halls, meditation caves and holy temples of the monastery and enjoy its quiet spiritual ambiance. Later, I went sightseeing at Kyichu Lhakhang, which is one of the oldest and holiest temples of Bhutan constructed in 7 th century. Rinpung Dzong A historic fortress-monastery, which features beautiful Bhutanese architecture and has religious significance. Sightseeing and going back to the hotel. Overnight at Paro.
     

  • Day-5 Leaving Paro +

    The day starts with breakfast, and then one can spend some free time in the Himalayan quiet environment. Then, leave the hotel and take a flight to the Paro International Airport, where you will continue your trip. Take the landmark memories of the heritage of the Bhutan valleys, ancient monasteries and stunning scenery.
