  • Day-1 Arrival in Haridwar +

    Reach Haridwar, which is among the most sacred cities of India, Ganges flows into the plains through the Himalayas. Spend the day after hotel check-in time acclimatizing and taking the spiritual atmosphere. Watch the river at night with hundreds of lamps lit at the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri followed by chants and bells. This is a very strong ritual that starts your spiritual journey. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

  • Day-2 Haridwar - Rishikesh +

    Drive up to Rishikesh, which is up the Ganges. Go to Parmarth Niketan Ashram or other spiritual monasteries to hear about yoga, meditation and river ceremonies. Cross the Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula and pass by ashrams, sadhus and pilgrims on the ghats. During the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat which is attended due to its devotional nature and serenity. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

     

  • Day-3 Rishikesh - Devprayag +

    Have your Breakfast, then go to Devprayag, the holy meeting-place of the rivers, Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, whence the Ganges is born.Get to know rituals in the sangam and get to know the importance of river confluences in Hindu culture. Visit the old Raghunath Temple which is the temple of lord Rama. The mountain environment is calm and offers a place of reflection. Go back to Rishikesh in the evening. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

  • Day-4 Rishikesh - Varanasi +

    Travel to Varanasi, which is believed to be one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world and have an early breakfast. During the evening, observe the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony at the Dashashwamedh Ghat, a very touching ceremony, carried out with enormous lamps, rhythmic songs, and coordinated actions. The spirituality is a forceful moment as it is a place of worship around the riverfront. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

     

  • Day-5 Varanasi - Sunrise Boat Ride and Departure +

    Start the day by taking an early morning boat ride on the Ganges, observing the sunrise rituals on the ghats. Watch pilgrims praying, yoga and their offerings to the river daily. You can pay a visit to key ghats like Manikarnika Ghat, Assi Ghat and local temples as a way of appreciating the cycle of life and death in Hindu philosophy. Breakfast and then transfer from Varanasi Airport or Railway Station to take a flight.
