About This Tour
The significant fascination remains the Deo Tibba top, which looms at a height of 6,001 meters, and is encircled by a few other 6thousander pinnacles. Indrasan at an elevation of 6,221 meters also dominates the region and may be a treat to the eyes from the vicinity of Hampa Pass. One among the favored alpine treks in Himachal Pradesh, the Hampta Pass trek occupies the mind of devoted trekkers during the height summer season in India. Lying at a rise of around 4,268 meters, the Hampta Pass remains as a scaffold that associates the Kullu valley with Lahaul. The Hampta Pass trek passes through thick forest of walnut, oak and pine trees, lush green alpine meadows crisscrossed by numerous small streams and a number of other villages tucked within the mountains. The journey truly may be a threshold of natural spectrum and remote culture. All though the whole journey is straightforward to moderate but it seems to be the foremost difficult part when it embarks upon a steep climb to Hampta Pass from Balu Ka Gera. The tracks at certain levels become tricky and narrow and further the trail slows down once you tread on to the thick bed of snow.
