  • Day-1 Arrival in Paro and Travel to Thimphu +

    Our Company will pick you up at Paro International Airport on your arrival, and guide you to Bhutan's capital, Thimphu. The picturesque journey takes one through lovely mountain roads, crystal clear rivers and picturesque Bhutanese villages which make the journey around the country a wonderful introduction to the peaceful landscape of the country.
    Arrive in Thimphu, settle in your hotel and unwind from your travel. In the evening stroll through the local markets which offer for sale traditional handicrafts, Bhutanese textiles, souvenirs and local products. The peaceful ambience of the city allows you to enjoy Bhutan's distinctive Culture in a relaxed pace. Overnight accommodation in Thimphu.
     

  • Day-2 Thimphu Sightseeing +

    In the morning, after having breakfast, tour around Thimphu for a full day to visit the famous cultural and traditional sights and spots of Thimphu. Visiting the national memorial Chorten is an essential thing to do first thing in the morning as locals will come and pray at the monument and take rest and do meditation. Last but not least head to the wonderful Buddha Dordenma Statue, the tallest seated Buddha statue in the world and also provides great panoramic scenery of the Thimphu Valley. Afterwards, spot the exquisite Tashichho Dzong - a beautiful fortress monastery, which is the administrative and religious hub of Bhutan. Visit its beautiful courtyards, temples and visit the traditional Bhutanese architecture. After the morning, head to the Folk Heritage Museum and the local handicraft market and can buy traditional souvenirs and handwoven cloths and crafts from the local people. Overnight in Thimphu.
     

  • Day-3 Head Towards Gangtey from Thimphu +

    Next, head on a picturesque drive towards Gangtey, passing through the scenic Dochula Pass. The pass is at an altitude of more than 3000 metres, it is well-known for its 108 memorial chortens and magnificent Himalayan views on clear days. Take time to savour the tranquility and take special photos. Breathtakingly beautiful Phobjikha Valley at the end of this journey through picturesque mountain roads, the thick forests of pine trees and charming Bhutanese villages. The valley presents one of the most serene places to visit in Bhutan with rolling hills and open meadows marked by Tiger's Tooth shaped hills in the summer season, and is also the winter home of the endangered black-necked cranes. Visit the majestic Gangtey Monastery (Gangtey Goemba), one of the most important Nyingma Monasteries in Bhutan. Visit its beautiful prayer halls, enjoy traditional Bhutanese architecture and the serene and gentle spiritual vibe around the monastery. Later, take a leisurely walk through the local village and experience the rural life in its midst, admiring the nature in the valley which has been undisturbed. Spending the night in Ganges.
     

  • Day-4 Visit to Phobjikha Valley Exploration +

    Follow the day in exploring the most scenic Phobikha Valley, a glacial valley in Bhutan with breathtaking sights. The valley is also renowned for its pristine natural beauty, tranquility and high diversity of flora and fauna. Explore a Black-Necked Crane Information Centre to find out more about the black necked cranes who come here every winter from Tibet. The centre offers interesting information on the conservation work carried out to conserve these scarce birds and their habitat. Later, stroll leisurely along the popular Gangtey Nature Trail, which is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Bhutan. You can find easy-tiled trails that go through forest and traditional villages, open grasslands and hills dotted with prayer flags and provide you with wonderful vistas of the valley over the trail. In the afternoon they visit local villages and monasteries nearby for a better understanding of Bhutan traditional life and culture and the Buddhist belief. 
     

  • Day-5 Arrival in Paro and Travel to Thimphu +

  • Day-6 Gangtey to Paro +

    Post breakfast set off on the road back home to Paro and enjoy another scenic road journey through Bhutan's scenic mountain roads, forests and peaceful valleys. While on the way stop at Dochula Pass for yet another look at the incredible panoramic view of the Himalayas and then head into Paro.
    Check in at the hotel and rest for a while at the hotel. Later take a visit to the historic Paro Rinpung Dzong, one of Bhutan's best fortress monasteries. Dzong is located on the hill top to observe the Paro Valley and features remarkable Bhutanese architecture, excellent Buddhist history and beautiful courtyards. Now head to the National Museum of Bhutan in the old watchtower (Ta Dzong) and enjoy more sightseeing. Exhibits of religious items, traditional costumes, ancient weapons, thangka paintings and cultural mounts of Bhutan's fascinating history are featured in the museum. Have a stroll around the town of Paro in the evening. Visit the local handmade shops, traditional markets and coffee houses; buy souvenirs at local handicraft shops and have a casual experience about life in the valley with the locals of Bhutan. Stay in a hotel until the following morning in Paro.
     

  • Day-7 Departure from Paro +

    On rising early after breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed on to the Paro International Airport for onward flight.
