• Day-1 Arrival in Paro +

  On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and he/she will be able to help you in making the transfer to Thimphu, your lovely Bhutanese capital city. Take over the hill with stunning scenic drives bordered by lush valleys, crystal clear rivers, traditional villages and forest covered mountains, which is perfect to start your life's experience of the peaceful atmosphere in Bhutan.
  Once you reach Thimphu, settle into your restaurant and get a good rest. • Day-2 Visit Palden and Travel to Punakha +

  Following breakfast, join her on a full day sightseeing experience in this city of Thimphu. Pay a visit to the holy Memorial Chorten which is one of the most cherished and sacred religious temples of Bhutan where local people come and offer their prayers daily and meditate. Head towards the beautiful Buddha Dordenma which is one of the tallest Buddha statues in the world, with superb views of the Thimphu Valley years. Later on go to the impressive Tashichho Dzong, where you'll find the seat of Government and the monastic body of Bhutan, designed as a piece of architectural masterwork. Once you have done sightseeing, drive towards Punakha via thrilling Dochula Pass. On clear days, the views of the snowy peaks of the Himalayas and the iconic 108 memorial chortens that make this pass one of Bhutan's most beautiful places to visit, can be lengthy and uninterrupted. • Day-3 Punakha Sightseeing +

  In the morning, have a relaxed tour of the holy sites of Punakha. Explore one of Bhutan's most beautiful and historically significant monasteries – Punakha Dzong. This majestic fortress, situated at a location where the rivers Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu join, is valued for its traditional Bhutanese architecture, elaborate woodwork, exquisite courtyards and its religious significance. It's a significant religious and administrative hub of the country of Bhutan. After that take an enjoyable walk, through the countryside, to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility. The temple, built in honour of the renowned Buddhist higher self, Lama Drukpa Kunley, is visited by pilgrims from all over the world for their good fortune and happiness. The walk through the scenic trail will pass through lush rice fields and village areas, and provide the opportunity to enjoy rural life in Bhutan and meet friendly locals. Take some time to relax in the afternoons, wandering around Punakha town, shops, viewpoints over the rivers, and peaceful places. • Day-4 Dochula Trekking +

  After breakfast, take a long drive back to Paro enjoying yet another pretty landscape drive, through the dense forests, small villages and mountain scenery. Take a break at Dochula pass where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Himalayan Mountains and take some very photogenic snaps of the surrounding peaks and the famous 108 chortens. Arrive in Paro and stay in a hotel before visiting the magnificent Paro Rinpung Dzong which is one of Bhutan's best examples of traditional fort architecture. Proceed to the National Museum and display some of fascinating collections of ancient artifacts, religious relics, traditional costumes, weapons, paintings and cultural displays of Bhutan which give you a glimpse of her rich heritage and history. Food lovers can be at the Paro town's market in the evening and settle down to a relaxed meal. • Day-5 Departure +

  The final day starts with a visit to one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred Buddhist monasteries, Kyichu Lhakhang, after breakfast. The monastery is a place of worship and pilgrimage, and is believed to have been built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century, with his name prominently featured on its walls. It is also considered one of the most significant structures in the history of Buddhism in the Himalayas, and is a major landmark for local people and visitors. The temple is located in a serene place, surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful prayer wheels, and the peace and quiet of the place provides an atmosphere for meditation and reflection. Take a brief scenic drive to the stunning Paro Valley, if time allows, passing by the traditional Bhutanese farmhouses, green fields and stunning landscapes of the mountains. However, it is possible to go and see local markets, which you can use to buy genuine souvenirs, prayer flags, handmade cloths and wood carvings before leaving.
