Day-1 On arrival at Paro Airport you will be picked up and transferred to Thimphu
From Paro International Airport our representative will be there to meet you and will escort you to the capital city of Bhutan - Thimphu. The picturesque journey takes you through pristine valleys, riversides and through traditional Bhutanese villages.

Day-2 Celebration of the-day Thimphu Tsechu Festival
Then it is time for one of Bhutan's most significant religious and cultural celebrations of the Thimphu Tsechu Festival after breakfast. The festival is celebrated by wearing coloured mask dances by monks and local artists themselves wearing traditional costumes. As they originated as sacred dances, it is thought that they enable viewers to be blessed by the performers and that the bad energies are lifted. Thousands of locals turn up in the best of traditional wear and customs to attend the celebrations. Later visit to the Remembrance Chorten and the Buddha Dordenma Statue to experience the spiritual heritage of the country Bhutan. Day-3 Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Today's trek to Punakha is through Dochula pass and the journey takes around 5.5 hours. In the morning drive on the spectacular Dochula Pass towards Punakha. The passes are splendid on a fine, clear day, with views of the snow clad peaks of the Himalayas. On arrival, visit the beautiful Punakha Dzong which is one of the best kept fortresses in Bhutan and lies on the junction of two rivers. Enjoy serene ambiance and of the terrific architecture of Bhutan. At the latter, it's possible to take a leisurely stroll and absorb the simple yet charming Bhutanese rural life in the rural villages and in the rice fields. Stay in Punakka overnight.

Day-4 Punakha to Paro
Return from Punakha to Paro (one day). After breakfast head back to Paro with a scenic drive and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Arrive at your hotel and recuperate. Later, head to National Museum and Paro Dzong – the palace of the king's residence where one can learn about Bhutan's interesting history, art and cultural heritages. The serene location and scenic valley ensures that Paro is one of the most attractive places to visit in Bhutan. Take the evening out and wander around the local shops and meet the locals. Day-5 Paro Tsechu Festival and Cultural Exploration
