    Enter Delhi, where you will be received and then taken to Mandawa, a historical town in the Shekhawati area of Rajasthan. Mandawa has a reputation of painted havelis and history of merchants, which provides a disorientation between the urban world and rural India. Once you have settled in a heritage haveli, you can go on an evening stroll along the village lanes and see traditional houses, cattle sheds and community wells. Mingle with the locals and study about rural habits. Have a typical Rajasthani meal. Overnight stay in Mandawa.

     

  • Day-2 Mandawa - Village Strolls and Village Traditions +

     

    Spend the morning of the day wandering about the villages around. Meet local artisans producing pottery, block print and metalwork in ancient techniques.
