Day-2 Kochi to Alleppey - Backwater Houseboat Experience
Breakfast, then drive to Alleppey, the backwaters capital of Kerala. Arrive and board your traditional houseboat, which is an apartment-like home that is on the water. Since the boat is taking a slow journey along small canals and broad lagoons, you will be able to look at the everyday life of the village, people, rowing their canoes, children playing in the villages, and green paddy fields which are as endless as the space itself. Take a Kerala-style meal onboard in the freshly made meals as you take in the beautiful scenery. At night, the houseboat anchors in a serene spot and you can have the water calmness in the starlit sky. Enjoy the houseboat stay overnight.

Leave the houseboat at breakfast and go to Marari Beach, a clean coastal location with crystal clear water and uncongested beaches. Get into your beach resort and go and rest after the backwater adventure. The remainder of the day is at liberty to spend in the soft sands, or making a leisurely swim, or sitting under waves of palm-trees. Marari is a serene sea situation, without the crowd of the commercial beaches. When it goes down the sun turns the beach into a golden canvas where walks can be made. One night at the Marari Beach.
