Day-1 Arrival in Paro and Travel to Thimphu
You will be greeted at the gate of the Paro International Airport by our representative and hence will be picked up in an airport bus to be transferred to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The journey along the route is picturesque, taking one through various beautiful valleys, rivers, pine forests and the traditional villages, a wonderful introduction to the untouched beauty of Bhutan. On arrival in the city of Thimphu, you are accommodated at your hotel and given a chance to recuperate following a trip.
After the day at the market, take a relaxed stroll, having the chance to wander amongst handcraft stores, meet with the locals and witness the piety of Bhutan. Otherwise, rest up in the evening and head back to your hotel. Overnight at Thimphu.

Day-2 Sightseeing and Travel to Gangtey Valley
Thoroughly enjoying the breakfast, head up on a sightseeing tour to Thimphu. Explore the country's most important religious monument, the Monument Chorten and then its stunning companion in majesty, the Buddha Dordenma which has panoramic views of the valley of Thimphu. Then visit the amazing Tashichho Dzong – the important fortress where government offices and monasteries are located.
Later journey towards the beautiful Gangtey Valley (Phobjikha Valley) through the spectacular Dochula Pass. In days of clear skies, witness a spectacular view of the snow clad mountains of the Himalayas along with the famous 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Pass the scenic forests & mountain roads and enter into the Gangtey valley. Arrive at the Hotel and have an evening in the charming landscape of one of the valleys in Bhutan. Stay over in Gan-gtey Valley.

Day-3 Hike to Gangtey Valley
Start your day with a relaxing nature trek around the Gangtey Valley which is one of the stunning glacial valleys of Bhutan, after breakfast. One can enjoy a quiet hike through the pine forests, meadows and traditional Bhutanese villages as well as among the rolling hills, for a wonderful view to the surrounding mountains. The walking track is easy and can be done by nature lovers, beginners into hiking and families who don't want to go through much trouble traversing the rugged terrain of Bhutan at a high speed. Next follow up to the historic Gangtey Monastery (Gangtey Goemba), one such monastery which overlooks the valley. Take a ride around the monastery and discover its stunning architecture, and its spiritual heritage. In winters, one can also spot rare Black-necked Cranes occurring in the Phobjikha Valley every year while travelling in the region. Enjoy the evening, relax and enjoy the peace in the valley. Stay over in Gan-gtey Valley.

Day-4 Gangtey Valley from Punakha
After breakfast head towards Punakka serenaded by the beautiful scenery along with the lovely villages. Immediately, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong-buddhist's most beautiful and historic fortress. The dzong is located in the heart of the valley where the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers meet, and is known for its unique and striking Bhutanese architecture and its beautiful scenery.
Later head back to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility temple), also referred to as the temple of the jealous wife. The temple is situated in a serene and peaceful environment, with the peaceful countryside and rice fields right inside. If it is not too early, take some time to meet some of the locals before you arrive at your hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha (required).

Day-5 Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, continue your trek of Paro where you will see spectacular forests, valleys, rivers and mountain roads. Arrived, check in to your hotel and enjoy yourself before paying a visit to one of Paro's most popular attractions. Visit Bhutan's most important monastery, the historic Paro Dzong, which is one of Bhutan's architectural masterpieces. Walk on to the National Museum of Bhutan, which has interesting exhibits to display the history, culture, art and traditions of Bhutan. In the evening go for a walk and enjoy shopping for souvenirs, locally produced goods and handicrafts in Paro town. Staying for one night in Paro.

Day-6 Departure
Check out from your hotel, and make the flight to Paro International Airport for the onward flight. Enjoy the scenic hiking trails, quiet monasteries, lovely valleys, picturesque views of the Himalaya mountains and Bhutan's warm hospitality before you end your Gangtey valley hike/nature walk with some wonderful memories of this great destination.
