  • Day-1 Reach Paro +

    As soon as you arrive at Paro International Airport, our airport chauffeur will greet you with a warm welcome and will take you to the hotel. A wonderful mountain scenery, with pleasant green mountains and house roofs in typical Bhutanese style all around the Paro Valley. Once checked in, rest in order to recuperate from the travel experience. Enjoy a scenic stroll of the town of Paro in the evening, visit the local shops and markets and catch a traditional Italian approach to the local café. You will be briefed by your guide, and will be given some important information on safety and trekking arrangements. Accommodation in Paro!
     

  • Day-2 Paro Sightseeing +

    Following breakfast, kick off your adventurous journey taking off on a drive to the trekking site. The path gradually rises through the lovely pine woods festooned with the colors of prayer flags. As the walk continues, enjoy fantastic views over the Paro Valley below. Visit the historic Jele Dzong, a fortress set in a picturesque setting on a ridge, and with breathtaking views of snow capped Himalayan peaks on clear days. Have a relaxing time before setting up camp! 
     

  • Day-3 Jatchulakha Sightseeing +

    Get up after breakfast and hike through rhododendron, fir and pine wood. Considerable numbers of birds and the wildlife of the Himalaya can be seen as there are gentle ascents and descents along the trail. Cross beautiful summery alpine meadows where peacefully idling yaks roam. During the day, soak in an all-around view of Mount Jomolhari and a few others of the Himalayas. Reach Jangchulakha Yurt Saan, a campsite with scenic surroundings amidst the pristine nature and tranquil mountain scenery. Relax in the fresh mountain air around the camp-site and enjoy your time in the evening. To sleep out at Jangchulakha.
     

  • Day-4 Jangchulakha to Jimilang Tsho +

    Following breakfast, head on through idyllic high-altitude hiking trails to the stunning Jimilang Tsho, one of Bhutan's most scenic high altitude lakes. This trail traverses open meadows and yak herding ranges, and tranquil forests and boasts wonderful views of the surrounding hills in the Himalayas. One of the best places to visit on the Druk Path Trek, crystal clear waters and calm environment, Jimilang Tsho is known for. Relax by the lakeside, take a picture of something that will be remembered and but appreciate nature for all it was and truest it remains. Taking a night's rest by camping near Jimilang Tsho.
     

  • Day-5 Jimilang Tsho via Simkota Tsho +

    Start the day with Breakfast on arrival on the gently rolling hills and serene landscapes en route to the next beautiful alpine lake, Simkota Tsho. This path goes over small ridges and passes through a number of mountains and mountain passes, offering wonderful views of the panorama of the surrounding area along the way. En route, you will meet yak herders and have a glimpse into the traditional mountain way of life of Bhutan. Once you arrive at Simkota Tsho, peaceful air and mountain surroundings are to be appreciated. The serene camping site near the lake provided a pretty memorable affair under the blue unclouded sky surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. Overnight boat at Simkota Tsho.
     

  • Day-6 From Simkota Tsho to Phajoding +

    After breakfast, trek further up to the Phajoding monastery which is one of Bhutan's more esteemed Buddhist monasteries high above the Thimphu valley. The path crosses forests of juniper and rhododendron, and provides excellent views of the surrounding mountains, as it slowly descends through them. Once you arrive, tour the complex of the Monastery, and enjoy the peaceful and spiritual ambiance that makes this place special for both monasteries and visitors. Time, the evening one can be spent relaxing with the exceptional view of the sunset on the Thimphu Valley. Camp over-night close to the settlement of Phajoding.
     

  • Day-7 Travel to Thimphu and Back to Paro +

    Upon waking, bask some more in the sun as you continue your Druk Path trek down for breakfast to the quaint capital of Bhutan - Thimphu. On arrival, head to some of the highlights of the city, like Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten and Tashichho Dzong. Wander through the local handicrafts markets to make some traditional souvenirs from Bhutan, handmade textile and local products. In the afternoon drive back to Paro enjoying the serene landscapes of the country side. Feel free to get in touch with your hotel and spend your night down at leisure.   • Day-8 Departure from Paro, flying to Kathmandu +

Path Trek to Druk (Druk La) is a moderate trek and is suitable for both beginner (good fitness) and advanced trekkers. One of the highest areas is approximately 4,200m and some basic physical fitness is strongly advised before embarking on the hike.

The perfect season for taking the Druk Path Trek Adventure Tour is from March – May or September – November. It's a nice time of the year, with favorable weather conditions, a good chance of catching sight of the Himalayas, rhododendrons in their spring flowers and great trekking.

Bring friends' level trekking shoes, warm clothing, waterproof jackets, gloves, sunglasses, sun screen, a container for water (reusable), personal medications and a small backpack. Clothing with multiple layers is suggested due to the possibility of rapid change of climatic conditions.
