About This Tour
With the Tiger Nest Trekking Tour, one gets to experience an unforgettable tour to one of the iconic temples of Bhutan where one gets to experience the amazing Tiger's Nest Monastery. Day-1 Arrive at Paro
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, get picked up by our representative, transferred to your hotel. Facing pristine mountains and green valleys, Paro is one of the most natural and scenic places in Bhutan and is the entry point to Tibet's most popular temple – the Tiger's Nest Monastery.
Post check-in it would be good to take some time to relax and acclimatise to the mountain environment. Return later for an appreciating stroll around Paro town and to explore locally the markets. The beautiful streets, the traditional Bhutanese houses and the serene environment provide the perfect introduction to a unique lifestyle and culture of Bhutan. In the evening take it easy, enjoy the quiet ambience and get ready for the next trek. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day-2 Hike up to Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery)
Savor the morning before setting off on the highlight of the tour - a trek to the first monastery visited by Tibetan monks, the renowned Tiger's Nest Monastery. Lying majestically on the cliff about 900m high above the Paro Valley, the monastery is considered to be one of Bhutan's holiest and most sacred pilgrimage sites. The path then slowly ascends through the gorgeous pine forests, adorned with colorful prayer flags, and provides wonderful views of the valleys below. There are several viewpoints on the trail which offer great lighting to capture fabulous photos of the monastery and look at it from various directions.
When you arrive at the Tibetans' magnificent architectural and spiritual treasure – Tiger's Nest Monastery, take your time to visit and admire it. Once, Bhutanese legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava meditated here, and flew there on the back of a tigress which led to this place being very sacred in Bhutan.
Relax in the tranquil environment, pray at the temples and view the mountains from a distance on the way back to Paro. Time spent afterward is then for unwinding and recuperating from that foray for rewarding rewards.

Day-3 A day of excursion to Chele La Pass, followed by sightseeing in Paro
On a morning break after breakfast take a trek on to Chele La Pass which is one of the highest motorable passes of Bhutan at an altitude of more than 3,900m. The scenic drive traverses thick pine forests, rhododendron forests and provides amazing views of snow-clad peaks of the Himalayan mountains.
Enjoy the pristine mountain air and vistas in Chele La Pass over all the surrounding valleys and mountains with colourful prayer flags. The stunning views and tranquil atmosphere redefine the beauty of nature and make the skies of the region a breath of fresh air for all nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.Later on return to Paro and visit a number of cultural sites in the valley that do not include Rinpung Dzong, National Museum etc. The monuments offer great insight into Bhutan's history, tradition and Buddhist heritage.
After a day of sightseeing, spend an evening shopping at Paro's markets and savor the traditional Bhutanese food. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day-4 Departure from Paro
Post breakfast, leave the hotel and go to Paro International Airport.
