Day-1 Welcome at Leh Kushok Bakula airport
Arrive at Leh airport, be welcome by our representative, and transfer to the hotel. Full rest during the first half of the day. After lunch, if convenient, visit Leh Palace, built by King Singgee Namgyal in the early 17th century. This deserted nine-story palace is now being taken over by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for restoration. Namgyal Tsemo built by King Tashi Namgyal after the victory over Hor (Central Asian invaders), visit Shanti Stupa (a Japanese pagoda built for world peace by Japanese monks based in India and inaugurated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1985). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day-2 Visit Leh
A full-day tour of the monasteries (104 Kms). After breakfast, you will visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries, and the Stok Palace Museum. Hot lunch or takeaway will be provided. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-3 Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500ft), 4-5 hours one-way drive through Changla Pass (17,350ft), the third-highest motorable road in the world. This famous brackish blue saltwater lake is 5-6 km wide and about 134 km long, 75% of its length is across the Indochina border. Lunch will be provided (optional), return to Leh by the same route. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day-4 Leh - Khardungla Pass - Leh
After breakfast drive to Khardungla Pass (18,380ft), the highest motorized road in the world and the gateway to the Siachen glacier, the views from the top of the pass are incredible. A packed lunch will be provided (optional), after lunch you will be free to explore the local markets of Leh. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Leh.

Early in the morning transfer to the airport to catch your flight home with sweet memories of Ladakh.
