Day-1 Arrival in Ladakh by air Day 1: Arrival in Ladakh by air
On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in, followed by a welcome tea or coffee. Full half-day rest to acclimatize and lunch will be served at the hotel. Afternoon visit to Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

Day-2 Visit Leh city
A full-day monastery tour (104 Kms). After breakfast visit the Magnetic Hill, Gurdwara, the confluence of Indus and Zanskar, Sangam, then proceed to Thiksey Monastery, where you will arrive around 1:00 or 2:00 pm, and have lunch at Thiksay Monastery restaurant. After lunch, visit Thiksay Monastery, the largest monastery of the Gelugpa sect in Ladakh, Rancho School, and Sindhu Ghat. The tour ends around 5:00 or 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

Day-3 Leh - Warlia Pass - Leh (About 160 km 8 - 10 hours)
Today, after breakfast at 9:00 am, drive to Warlia Pass at 80 km from Leh. Warlia Pass is the gateway to the Shayok Valley, at the top of the pass, panoramic view of Sakti village. The surroundings are high-altitude pastures. You will reach the pass at about 12:00 pm, pass by sometimes to take pictures, and return to Leh. On the way, visit the 17th century Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery of the Drukpa sect in Ladakh, and Tiksay Monastery, the largest monastery of the Gelugpa sect in Ladakh. Have lunch at the restaurant of Tiksay. Then visit Rancho School and Sindhu Ghat. Your tour will end around 5:00 or 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

Day-4 Leh to Nubra Valley (125 km 4 - 5 hours)
Today, after breakfast at 8:00 or 9:00 am, leave for Hunder village in the Nubra valley by crossing the Kardungla pass at 18380 feet above sea level. The Kardungla Pass is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. En route, visit the 14th-century Deskit Monastery and the newly built 107 foot Maitreya Buddha statue located at the top of the hill, from where you will have a panoramic view of the villages of the Nubra Valley. Then you will go to Hunder village, 5 km from Deskit monastery. You will arrive at Hunder village around 12:30 or 13:30, have lunch at the restaurant, and then take a double-humped camel ride in the sand dune of Hunder. Dinner and overnight in camp in Hunder village.

Day-5 Nubra to Pangong Lake (160 km 6 - 7 hrs)
Today, after breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake via Shayok Valley. On the way, if you wish, visit Tangtse Monastery and arrive at Pangong Lake in the afternoon. After lunch, enjoy the majestic view of the lake and take some pictures. In the evening, enjoy the sunset on the lake and take some pictures. Dinner and overnight at Pangong Lake.

Day-6 Pangong Lake to Leh (140 km 4 or 5 hours)
Today, after leisurely breakfast at 9:00 am, return to Leh via Changla Pass enjoying the cold desert landscape of the Himalayas. You will reach Leh in the afternoon at 12:00 or 13:00, have lunch in a restaurant and then check into the hotel to relax. In the evening stroll through the market of Leh. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
