Ladakh means “the land of high passes”. It is surrounded by the Karakoram range in the north and the Himalayas in the south. It is an important district of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The average height of Ladakh above sea level is over 3000 meters.

From bustling cities to serene landscapes, each day has been thoughtfully planned to provide memorable experiences, local interactions, and seamless travel across destinations.

  • Day-1 Arrival in Ladakh by air +

    Arrive at LehKushokBakula airport. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in, followed by a welcome tea or coffee. Full half-day rest to acclimatize and lunch will be served at the hotel. Afternoon to visit Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

  • Day-2 Sightseeing around Leh city +

    Today, after leisurely breakfast at 9:00 am, visit the famous tourist attractions of Leh city. Sightseeing includes Thiksay Monastery, the largest monastery of the Gelugpa sect in Ladakh, Rancho School, Sindhu Ghat, and the Royal Palace Museum in Stok village. After visiting all these sites, return to Leh for lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, visit the famous Hall Museum, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Your tour will end at 5:00 or 6:00 pm and in the evening stroll around the market of Leh. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

  • Day-3 Leh to Nubra valley via Kardungla pass (120 km, 4 or 5 hours) +

    Today, after breakfast at 8:00 or 9:00 am, leave for Hunder village in the Nubra valley by crossing the Kardungla pass at 18380 feet above sea level. The Kardungla Pass is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. En route, visit the 14th-century Deskit Monastery and the newly built 107 foot Maitreya Buddha statue located at the top of the hill, from where you will have a panoramic view of the villages of the Nubra Valley. Then you will go to Hunder village, 5 km from Deskit monastery. You will arrive at Hunder village around 12:30 or 13:30, have lunch at the restaurant, and then take a double-humped camel ride in the sand dune of Hunder. Dinner and overnight in camp in Hunder village.

  • Day-4 (Nubra Valley) Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder 140 km 10 or 12 hours +

    Today, after breakfast at 7:00 am departure for the village of Turtuk which was opened for the first time to tourists in 2010. The village is located 70 km from Hunder on the bank of the Shayok River, about 3 km from the Line of Control between India and Pakistan. Turtuk is known for its fruit varieties, especially apricots. The original inhabitants of Turtuk were an Indo-Aryan tribe, known locally as the Brogpas, who migrated from Chilas, a place now in Baltistan, to Pakistan. The people of Turtuk, as in other places in Baltistan, practice the Sufi sect of Noorbakshia Sufis. You will reach Turtuk at 12:00 and enjoy the beauty of the village’s landscape. You will visit the old polo field and have a panic lunch before returning to Hunder village. You will reach Hunder at 16:00 or 18:00. Dinner and overnight camp in Hunder village.

  • Day-5 From Nubra valley to Pangong lake (170 km 6 - 7 hrs) +

    Today, after breakfast, we leave for Pangong Lake through the Shayok Valley. If you wish, visit Tangtse Monastery and arrive at Pangong Lake in the afternoon. After lunch, enjoy the majestic view of the lake and take some pictures. In the evening, enjoy the sunset on the lake and take some pictures. Dinner and overnight at Pangong Lake.

  • Day-6 Pangong Lake to Leh (140 km 4 - 5 hrs) +

    Today, early in the morning, don’t forget to watch the sunrise view of the lake and if you want, hike along the lakeshore and take some pictures, then back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, at 9:00 am, return to Leh via Changla Pass (5360 meters). On the way, visit Thiksay Monastery (14th century), the largest monastery in Ladakh, Rancho School, and Sindhu Ghat. Lunch at the Thiksay Chamba restaurant or at the Cloud café. You will arrive in Leh in the afternoon, at 3:00 or 4:00 pm, and settle in at the hotel to relax. In the evening, stroll around Leh mall road for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

  • Day-7 Departure +

    Today, after an early breakfast, transfer to the airport. End of the tour and service!
