Begin with Old Delhi, where the splendid Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Take a classic rickshaw ride along Chandni Chowk, a maze of narrow streets, spice markets, and shops literally centuries old, the reflections of traditional Delhi. Next, proceed to Raj Ghat, which is the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, and provides a peaceful place to think.
During the afternoon, sightsee New Delhi that includes a drive around India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Parliament House, which have British architectural buildings. Explore the Tomb of Humayun, which was a precursor of the Taj Mahal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finish the day at another UNESCO site, Qutub Minar, which is an early Indo-Islamic building. Overnight stay at a hotel in Delhi.

  • Day-3 Delhi to Agra +

Subsequently, go to the world-renowned Taj Mahal, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and among the seven wonders of the world. The monument, constructed by the Emperor Shah Jahan in his tribute to his favourite wife the Mumtaz Mahal, is a monument of love and architecture that will remain forever.
Proceed to Agra Fort, which is also a UNESCO site and is surrounded by massive red sandstone walls with beautiful palaces, halls, and courtyards where Mughal emperors used to live. During the evening, one can visit local markets where one can find marble handicrafts and traditional souvenirs. Overnight stay in Agra.
