Best Time to Visit Rann of Kutch

October to March is the best time to visit Rann of Kutch as it is relatively cooler and the salt desert is accessible for sightseeing. The winter season is very popular as the daytime is quite pleasant and there is plenty of sunshine to take portraits and visit nearby villages. The Rann Utsav is usually organised in the winter season, and the dates may differ from year to year. The summer (April-June) may be very hot, and the monsoon (July-September) can cause rains and alter the appearance and accessibility of the salt flats.
