Diu is a lovely seaside town on the West coast of India that is rich in Portuguese influence, architecture, churches, sandy beaches, a historic fort and colourful streets. Diu is situated off the south coast of Gujarat and was under Portuguese rule for several centuries, and its unique architecture is evident in its forts, churches, old buildings and town streets.
Among the many scenic highlights of the region is the magnificent Diu Fort, which is perched majestically on the edge of the Arabian Sea, with its striking stone walls, bastions and panoramic views of the sea. The town also boasts a number of historic churches, including St. Paul's Church, and many other natural and cultural attractions are located in the nearby areas, such as Naida Caves and some beaches.
In the present day, Diu provides a peaceful blend of history, beaches and coastal culture. They can enjoy the Portuguese-era monuments, rest by the sea, admire the lovely sunset and enjoy local markets and seafood traditions. Best Time to Visit Diu

October to March is the best time to visit Diu as the weather is generally pleasant and comfortable for exploring the forts, churches, beaches and outdoor attractions. Beach activities, sightseeing and enjoying the coastline are especially recommended in winter. It can be humid and hot in the summer months (April to June) but cooler in the mornings and evenings. During the monsoon season (from July to September), it rains, and rough sea conditions occur at some point, and the terrain becomes green and refreshing.
