October to March, especially for birdwatching at Keoladeo National Park, is the best time to visit Bharatpur. Winter brings a multitude of migratory birds to the sanctuary as well as more comfortable viewing, and summer brings a multitude of visitors. The sanctuary attracts many migratory birds in the winter and offers a lot of viewing in the summer in the cooler weather. The national park is best visited in the early mornings and for birding. Summers are hot, and the monsoon season provides greenery and increased water levels in wetlands.
