• Day-1 Arrival in Hyderabad +

  On reaching Hyderabad airport or railway station, meet your tour representative who will help you in your transfer to your hotel. Once in the hotel, have some time to unwind and refresh after travelling. One of the cities possessing a rich cultural background and spectacular architecture is Hyderabad, which was the capital of the Qutb Shahi and the Nizams. You can go market shopping in the evenings or take a little stroll in historical parts of the city. Overnight stay in Hyderabad.

   

• Day-2 Hyderabad Sightseeing +

  Breakfast then starts sightseeing in Hyderabad. See the popular Charminar that can be considered a landmark of the city as well as a representative of the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. And then go back to Golconda Fort, which used to be the capital of the Qutb Shahi and which provides beautiful views of the area. Then go to the Qutb Shahi Tombs where the tombs of the dynasty rulers were situated. The architectural beauty and the significance of the history of the Deccan Sultanates are expressed in the monuments. Overnight stay in Hyderabad.

   

• Day-3 Hyderabad - Bidar +

  Breakfast and drive to Bidar, an ancient city which was the capital city of the Bahmani Sultanate. The trip goes through the landscape of the Deccan plateau. On arrival check in to the hotel and have a rest. Subsequently pay a visit to Bidar Fort, the place of spectacular gateways, mosques and palaces. Visit also the well known Mahmud Gawan Madrasa that used to be a great hub of Islamic education. Overnight stay in Bidar.

   

• Day-4 Bidar - Gulbarga +

  Breakfast and drive to Gulbarga which is another important city related to the Bahmani rulers. On arrival visit Gulbarga Fort that has a number of historical buildings such as mosques and royal buildings. Next, there is Jama Masjid, which is part of the complex of the fort and the oldest example of the Islamic architecture in the Deccan area. This city is a depiction of the initial period of the Sultanate domination in the south of India. Overnight stay in Gulbarga.

   

• Day-5 Gulbarga - Bijapur +

  Breakfast then drives to the city of Bijapur which boasts of stunning monuments constructed under the Adil Shahi rule. Arrival Check in the hotel and have a rest. Visit the renowned Gol Gumbaz later with one of the largest domes in the world and that is also famous in terms of acoustic properties. There are also other architectural places that one can visit like the Ibrahim Rauza that is arguably one of the best examples of Deccan architecture. Overnight stay in Bijapur.

   

• Day-6 Bijapur - Aurangabad +

  Breakfast: and then start off on the trip to Aurangabad, which was the great city during the Mughal rule, and especially during the reign of the Emperor Aurangzeb. The drive provides the scenery of the countryside and rural areas of Deccan. Arrival check in to your hotel and rest. During the night you can visit local markets that deal with handicrafts and traditional textiles. Aurangabad one night stay.

   

• Day-7 Aurangabad - Ellora - Daulatabad +

  Visit Daulatabad Fort, one of the strongest hill forts in India, which has been identified by its strategic position and complicated defense mechanisms after breakfast. Then go to Ellora Caves which is a UNESCO world heritage site of rock-cut temples and monasteries of the Hindu, Buddhist and Jain faiths. The caves are distinguished by high artistic skills and artistry. Go back to Aurangabad in the evening. Aurangabad: Overnight stay.

   

• Day-8 Ajanta Caves Excursion +

  In the morning, have a field trip to the Ajanta Caves that is another UNESCO World Heritage site. These prehistoric Buddhist caves are simultaneously famous with their lovely murals and sculptures representing the scenes of the life of Buddha and Indian society in the past. The caves were hewn in the form of a horseshoe-shaped cliff, which overlooked a river valley, and are considered as the best examples of ancient Indian arts. Go back to Aurangabad in the evening. The stay overnight in Aurangabad.

   

• Day-9 Departure +

  We call at the airport or railway station of Aurangabad after breakfast to continue your journey.
