Day-1 Nagpur arrival to Pench National Park
Reach Nagpur, which is the entrance to the wildlife circuit of Central India. Welcome and then go to Pench National Park, which is on the Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh border.
Put your foot in your jungle lodge in the teak forest. Lunch followed by a brief orientation regarding the wildlife and safari rules in the park. During the night, spend your free time by hearing sounds in the forest or watching the birds around the lodge. Overnight and dinner in the vicinity of Pench.
-
Day-2 The Pench National Park - Morning and Evening Safari
Start in the morning with a morning jeep safari in Pench National Park. Pench is a wildlife park, which is known to have an open forest structure and grasslands with good visibility on wildlife. The common sights include tigers, leopards, wild dogs and huge herds of deer.
Go back to the lodge to have breakfast and rest. Later on in the afternoon, go on an evening safari, which is an experience in the forest because you can see the animals come out in the cooler temperature. The different light contributes dramatic beauty to the landscape. Overnight and dinner at the lodge.
-
Day-3 Pench- Kanha National Park
Visit the Kanha National Park, which is among the largest and best-managed reserves in India, after breakfast. Get here by afternoon and get into your lodge. The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling was based on the landscape of Kanha- large meadows, sal forests and streams. The nights are at leisure to have a talk with the wildlife or have nature walks around the lodge. Overnight and dinner at Kanha. -
Day-4 Khanha National Park - Double Safari.
Jeep safari into the core areas of Kanha in the early morning when the tigers are on strong territory and barasingha (hard-ground swamp deer), an animal almost extinct, has been reintroduced in the area.
After breakfast, loiter in the lodge or bird watch. Subsequently, take an evening safari where you will be visiting a different area of the park to maximize the number of wild animals that you can see. Kanha has vast grasslands which offer great photography experience. Overnight and dinner close to Kanha.
-
Day-5 Kanha - Bandhavgarh National Park
Following breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, which is also known to be among the highest concentrations of tigers in India. Register in your lodge by the park. The afternoon will be dedicated to leisure or a short tour to local tribal villages to get to know the forest life. Overnight and dinner at Bandhavgarh. -
Day-6 Bandhavgarh Safari and Departure
Begin with an early morning safari in Bandhavgarh. The tiger population is high and the size of the park is small hence sightings are common. Except tigers, you will have leopards, sloth bears, and diverse species of birds. Check out after breakfast and transfer to Jabalpur or Katni Railway station or travel back to Nagpur and head on. The tour ends with memorable wildlife experiences and better understanding of the forests of Central India.
