After arriving at Guwahati Airport, our representative will welcome you in the airport arrivals hall. There the representative will assist you right up until you check-in at the hotel in Guwahati. Whether you wish to take a shower or rest, if you wish, we will take you for a quick tour of Guwahati. Stay overnight at the hotel.
We will depart in the morning after breakfast for Orang Park. An area of 78.80 Sq. is the oldest park in Assam. Km. Lying on the northern bank of the Brahmaputra River, it is legendary for its 50 species of fish. Apart from fish, there are also seven species of turtles in the river or creeks that run through the park. Once we arrive, we will head to the guesthouse to observe the wildlife. Morning, we will wake up slightly earlier. Following the morning tea, enjoy a wildlife viewing safari in Orange Park. It will take place in the middle of dense forests with high trees and tall grasslands. Then we continue our safari which will take 1 hour.
Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will again explore the park. We then choose the vehicle that will take us to the park to observe the wildlife. It is particularly famous for its single-horned rhinoceros; the opposing fauna found in Manas is the Royal Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, deer and wild boar. It is known for the small Indian civet, the otter, the Felis bengalensis, the fishing cat and the Felis chaus, etc. Beyond mammals, 222 species of birds are recorded in Orang, many of which are migratory birds. Following the reception, we will leave for Nameri Park. When you arrive, transfer to the pre-booked camp. We will have a free evening or visit the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation where we will study about the species. The Pygmy Hog remains one of the most endangered mammals in the world. Such Pygmy Pigs are bred in captivity in Guwahati and currently being kept under semi-natural conditions in Nameri prior to being eventually released into the park. Overnight in camp/resort.
Embark on your first safari in the morning after breakfast to explore Nameri Park. While there, experience a walk in the forest with an experienced naturalist. As one of the most beautiful scenic parks in Assam, Nameri Park features the Jia Bhoroli River flowing through it. Nestled on the eastern border of Assam, the Nameri Valley borders the mountainous Arunachal to the east.
While trekking through the forest, prepare to observe some of the most endangered wildlife, including the white-winged summer duck, Melursus ursinus, tiger leopard, cloud leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian canine, four kinds of hornbill and many other bird species.
It is also famous for its herds of elephants since the density of the elephant population is very high.
Back to the resort for lunch at the end of the afternoon. Following lunch, time for a leisurely tour of the resort for a leisure activity or choose to go angling on the Jia Bhoroli River. This day the journey will take us to the Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh, via Tenga. While on the way, a visit will be made to the Tipi Orchid Centre in Tipi. A wildlife sanctuary at Eagle’s Nest is located between 500 and 3200 mt above sea level and covers an area of 218 km2. Covering the whole world from Eagle’s Nest Pass to the north of Khellong, the whole slope from Lama Camp to Khellong has the potential to be a prime birdwatching area. It has a vehicle track from Tenga through Eagle’s Nest Pass to Kamengbari and offers the opportunity for up close and honest bird watching along the way.
Following breakfast, the bird watching excursion to the eagle’s nest will continue for the second day in a row. There are approximately 450 species of birds in Eagle’s Nest. The nature reserve of Pakke has an elevation between 100 and 2000 mt and covers an area of 862 km2. It is only allowed to walk inside the park under the supervision of a forest ranger. There is a vehicle track inside Pakke between Khari and Seijusa; however, only the rest of the bird watching areas on the opposite side of the park will be covered on foot or by elephant back. There will also be a very good bird watching facilities in the wooded areas of the Forestry Department complex that are found in Sejusa and Khari. Black-tailed jaguar, collared jaguar, Jerdon’s bazaar, silver-eared media, hawks on foot, long-tailed and collared hornbill, crown hornbill and a horned hornbill, white-cheeked hill partridge, grey peacock, Elbe’s crab, the ibisbills, emerald cuckoo, red-headed trogon, green pigeon, wood owl, blue-naped pitta, small short-winged bird, white-browed bird, daurian redstart, white-bellied yuhina, yellow-bellied flycatcher, sultan’s tit, ruby-cheeked solarium, brown oriole, raven-billed drongo, etc.

Following a delicious breakfast, head to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the world record 80% population of the world’s horned rhino. It is located 220 km from Guwahati, the capital of Assam. On arrival in Kaziranga, check-in at a wildlife resort. You are free for the evening. Stay overnight at the resort.
We are starting our wildlife exploration in Kaziranga Park today, for we will wake up a little early and experience our first ever safari into the park’s jungle. In Kaziranga, we will enjoy the safari in the central area called Kohora, which is often the smallest area in the park where the density of horned rhinos is the highest. However, the safari will take us on the very narrow path of the park into the elephant grass and it can increase the chances of approaching the wildlife. This core area of the park is a mixture of grassland and forest.
It also has a number of bodies of water, which is ideal for birdlife and for pelicans, storks and stingers, since there is a wide variety of water bodies within the park. Later we return to the resort for breakfast.
We will resume our safari in the centre of the park after breakfast. Afterwards, we will board the open jeep for the game drive in the park and enjoy wildlife viewing in the central part of the park. In addition to rhinos, the mammals found here include deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and tigers.
Later on return to the resort and enjoy the ambience or rest until lunch. Following lunch, you will visit the park again for our second safari of the day. We will take the Bagori – Dongabeel – Rowmari – Rajapukhuri – Monabeel road along the bank of the Mori Diffalu River. We will stop at the Donga observation tower on the way back for an occasional glimpse of the wildlife. Afterwards, we will return to the resort station. Overnight accommodation in the resort.
This day we will explore the eastern chain of the park during a jeep safari. Named Agoratoli, the eastern chain of Kaziranga is mainly made up of forests and it is legendary for its wide variety of birds. Home to a wide variety of migratory birds, Agoratoli is also known for its large population of wild elephants. While we explore Agoratoli, a visit to Lake Shola will take us to the Shohola tower where we will be able to stop for a while to observe the birds and other animals. Perhaps this will be the last stop of our jeep safari in the Eastern region. Later on, we will return back for lunch at the resort.
Following lunch, we will explore the centre of the national park again by visiting some of its watchtowers, namely Kathpora Tower, Daflang Tower and Kerasing Tower. After that back to the resort.
In the evening time, we will also visit the nearby local village to see how it lives and earns its living. The night will be spent at a wildlife resort.
On this morning, it will be dedicated to the birdlife of Kaziranga. Since we will wake up a little earlier, you will be able to go to the Burapahar range of the park accompanied by a packed breakfast. We will then drive from our station to the nearest place where we will start our trekking or walk in the Burapahar range of the park. We will start our trail from Pani Juri camp where a naturalist and rangers will be on hand, from here we will walk to the banks of the Brahmaputra river. Through the middle of the forest for which Burapahar is so famous, during our trek we will be ready to see many wildlife species such as the Bald Tongue, elephants and thus the great Indian Hornbill and hoolock gibbon. At the end of the trekking hours, we will return to Pani Juri camp and then head back to the resort for lunch.
Following lunch, our jeep safari in the centre of Kaziranga Park will again be chosen to increase our chances of seeing more wildlife. Afterwards, we will return to the resort for dinner and overnight.
