After having breakfast you’ll leave for your trip. you’ll visit the Tsomgo Lake or Changu Lake, lying at an elevation of 12,400 feet above the ocean level. this is often often a glacial lake which is found at a distance of 37 km away from Gangtok. This stunning attraction is typically visited by Brahminy duck and other colourful migratory birds. This oval-shaped lake is 50 feet deep and is roofed with snow all round the year. After exploring the Lake site, continue towards subsequent attraction of the day Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial War temple which is situated at around 20 km from here. Originally a war memorial, inbuilt the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh of the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who sacrificed his life within the Indo-China, 1962 and it slowly became a temple. it had been constructed in 1983 by the Indian Army after the deceased soldier appeared within the dream of his soldier friend.
