After breakfast, we will go to Basanti, passing through the agricultural villages of Bengal. Eventually, we will arrive in Basanti at lunchtime. Following lunch, we will take a boat to Sajnekhali, where the sanctuary’s entrance point is located. Lunch will be served on the boat. During the afternoon, visit the watchtower of Sudhanyakhali. Following breakfast, visit of the Netidhopani / Burirdhabri watchtower as well as a cruise in the creeks and around the group of islands in the Sunderban Tiger project area. Following a healthy breakfast, we will depart to enjoy our third-day boat cruise to the Do-banki watchtower. Afterwards, we will proceed to Basanti. This day, we will head to Manas Park, which is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, in Assam, on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, approximately 4 hours away ½. The park is on the international border with Bhutan.

It is the most amazing natural habitat in India, one of the simplest in the world as well as the most spectacular of its landscapes. Lying to the north by the Royal Manas Park in Bhutan, to the south by the densely populated North Kamrup District and to the east and west by buffer forest reserves which are part of the 2,840 sq km Manas Tiger Reserve. This was established as a tiger reserve project in 1973 and declared a park in 1973. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site (endangered), a planned tiger reserve and a biosphere reserve – a unique distinction. This Brahmaputra Valley terrestrial ecoregion, being a semi-persistent forest, is the richest in species of any wildlife area in India and hence the only known habitat for rare and endangered species.

The Nameri Park, the most beautiful park in Assam, covers an area of 200 km2, nestled at the foot of the eastern Himalayas. As you arrive, register your pre-booked camp. During the evening, discover the surroundings of the campsite. Overnight in camp.
Normally the Nameri Park covers an area of 200 km2. Featuring the Jia Bhoroli River that runs through the park, there is the most beautiful scenery of all the national parks in Assam. Lying on the eastern border of Assam, nestled in the valley and mountains of Arunachal Pradesh, Nameri has a number of species such as the white-winged summer duck, Melursus ursinus, tiger leopard, cloud leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian canine, four kinds of hornbill and many other winged species.
You will enjoy today, after breakfast, trekking with an experienced trekking guide through the Nameri Forest Reserve with the aim of exploring its major fauna. If you would like to enjoy river rafting, so take advantage of this suggestion this afternoon. Spend the night at the camp.
Leaving after breakfast today, we leave for the rhino country, Kaziranga Park, that is particularly famous for its Indian horned rhinoceros. Nestled on the shores of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far northeast of India, Assam, with its swamps and tall grass, has a surface area of about 430 km2, making the Kaziranga Park an ideal habitat for the single-horned Indian rhinoceros. Following unlimited poaching of this prehistoric survivor, Kaziranga Park became a nature reserve in 1940.
At arrival, check-in at the resort. During the afternoon, a jeep safari to the park to observe the wildlife. Overnight stay in the resort.
We will be waking up a little earlier today with a wake-up call, about half an hour before heading to our morning elephant safari (5:30-6:30 am) into the park to observe the wildlife. Back to the resort to have breakfast. Following breakfast, we will prepare for the jeep safari (in the centre or west of the park). Drive back to the lodge for lunch. Then after lunch, we will go on a jeep safari (if we visit the central house in the morning, then western range or the other way around). Overnight stay in a nature reserve.
Have morning and afternoon safaris with an experienced naturist guide. We will go on a jungle safari just like the day before. The safari will enter the park twice, initially visiting the central or western range. Spend the night in a wildlife resort.
An early morning wildlife safari in the jungle (from 5:30 to 6:30 am) into the park to observe wildlife. Later on, return to the resort for breakfast. In the morning after breakfast, head to Guwahati. At arrival, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Kolkata.
