At Bandhavgarh National Park: The Bandhavgarh National Park can be found on the Vindhya Hills in Madhya Pradesh. The Bandhavgarh Park which is famous for the Royal Bengal Tigers. Its tiger population density in Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India.

Bandhavgarh Park is also known as the hunting ground of the Maharaja of Rewa. Furthermore, it is also the famous wildlife centre of white tigers. Although white tigers are now an important attraction in zoos worldwide, it was not long before white tigers were first discovered in Rewa. It is one of the best parks in India and has the distinction of having the highest concentration of tigers per unit area of forest. It extends over an area of 448 km2 and has a total surface area of 105 km2. amidst the park lies the Bandhavgarh hill, which stands 811 metres above its water level overlooking sloping valleys, These valleys ending in small swampy meadows known locally as “bohera”.

It was declared a national park in 1968. Since then numerous measures have been taken to conserve it.  Namely, Bandhavgarh Park as an intact national habitat for the world’s special flora and fauna. Some of these include the gaur (Indian bison), Melursus ursinus, leopard, porcupine, wild boar, sambar and spotted deer, among others, and even the tiger.
