Day 4 Jaipur
In the Morning after having breakfast, Later take a guided tour of Amber Fort. Set in a picturesque location, Amber is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh in red sandstone and white marble, the palace complex has some very interesting apartments. Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, SukhNiwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest. You will be provided the Jeep to ascend the fort to visit the complex. Enjoy a tour of Jaipur city which was built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer 260 years ago. Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace (apart of which is the home of the erstwhile royal family), the Observatory, Ram Niwas Gardens, Hawa Mahal (wind palace)or the Palace of winds built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and drive past the old part of Jaipur city. Day 5 Jaipur –Agra (245km / 5h)
In the Morning after having breakfast, drive to abandoned citadel of Mughal emperor Akbar known as Fatehpur Sikri. Later drive towards Agra. Today you will visit the historical Agra Fort. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Agra –New Delhi (257km/4h41)
In the Morning after having breakfast, visit to the incomparable monument of eternal love- The Taj Mahal. Later drive towards Delhi. Evening you can visit the famous Sikh Temple, Bangla Shahib. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 7 New Delhi –Chennai (By flight) – Mahabalipuram (67km/2h5)

Day 8 Mahabalipuram –Pondicherry (100km /3h)
In the morning after having breakfast, we drive to visit the impressive coastal site of Mahabalipuram which was constructed between the 7th and 9th centuries and portrays, by way of impressive rock calving and relief, the historical, mythological and philosophical Indian epic known as the Mahabharata. You visit the famous Shore Temple, Five Ratha’s and Arjuna’s Penance. Later drive south following the coastline to the former French colony of Pondicherry. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Pondicherry –Tanjore (168km / 4h)
In the morning after having breakfast, Today enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pondicherry visiting the Aurbindo Ashram, later drive from the India’s eastern coast and inland to Tanjore via Darasuram, home of the UNESCO World Heritage Airavetisvara Temple. Day 10 Tanjore –Madurai (190km/5h)
In the morning after having breakfast, Today you drive to the town of Madurai which is home to some fine examples of Dravidian architecture and in particular the stunning Meenakshi Temple complex with its vast colourfully carved gopuram. Thiru Malai Nayak Palace, actually designed by an Italian architect, makes for an interesting visit, along with the Puthu Mandapam and Pillared Hall. This evening enjoy an atmospheric tour of the Meenakshi temple complex. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Madurai – Periyar (148km/3h)
In the morning after having breakfast, drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure to explore the spice town. Evening enjoy a spice garden visit to learn more about the spices grown in this region and later enjoy an elephant ride in the plantation. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 12 Periyar
Early morning enjoy a nature trek in the Periyar Tiger Reserve with the tribal trackers. Later return to your hotel for breakfast. Afternoon enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar to spot herds of Wild Elephants, Bisons, Sambar Deers, Nilgir Langurs, Malabar Giant Squirrels and variety of species of birds. Stay overnight at hotel.
