Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Day 02: Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh

After a great relaxing night in Delhi, get ready for a train ride to Haridwar and Rishikesh during your tailor made India trip. These are your next two travel destinations. You will get off at Haridwar station. It is an Indian city located in the state of Uttarakhand. It is near Rishikesh. It should be noted that Haridwar is one of the 7 sacred cities of Hinduism. Every twelve years there is an important religious festival called "Kumbh Mela". Day 11: Shimla (Summer Capital of India during the British Raj)

Get ready to explore the state capital of Himachal Pradesh Get ready to leave for Shimla during your tour to North India. You will travel through the most beautiful landscapes of the country. Enjoy this landscape of orchards and snow-capped peaks. If you leave early in the morning, you will arrive at the end of the afternoon in Shimla. Once there, you will go directly to your hotel! Day 12: Shimla Discovery Day

A trip to North India ensures a safe change of scenery like the discovery of Shimla. It is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. It lies in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India. Note that it is also an ancient summer capital of the British Raj. It is a tourist town full of history to discover. Note that this is also the terminus of the Kalka-Shimla narrow gauge railway line. Among the unmissable things to discover in the heart of the city, do not miss the visit of the pedestrian avenue which shelters various craft shops.
