Day 01 – Arrive at Delhi
Namaskar! Welcome to India. Your Agro Tourism with Tribes of Orissa Tour begins with a welcome meeting with our representative at Airport. After traditional welcome with garland at airport, transfer to Hotel. Delhi was Capital of the Mughal Empire in the seventeenth century, and today capital of a country with over a billion inhabitants, Delhi is clearly divided between the old and the new city. Later we leave for a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. In Old Delhi we will visit the largest mosque in India called Jama Masjid.The highlight of the tour is an exhilarating bicycle rickshaw ride through the bustling and colourful streets of fabled shopping bazaar, Chandni Chowk (Silver Street).We drive past Red Fort citadel and reach Rajghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi where nearby are located two museums dedicated to him too. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar,a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Well known for mughal architecture. Over night at Hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi - Bhubaneswar - Mangalazodi
After breakfast transfer to the airport for board on flight to Bhubaneswar. Arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, meet & greet, transfer to Mangalazodi Eco Village, on the bank of the Chilika Lake. Mangalazodi is a country side village just 70 km from Bhubaneswar, the main occupation of the villagers are:
Day 03 –Mangalazodi Eco Village
Morning after breakfast, visit Mangalazodi village, The villagers of Mangalazodi will welcome you into their village; hosts more than 600000 birds which jostle in its marshy water, especially the migratory & local birds, 2 hours birds’ safari with Country boat at wetland of Mangalazodi, also experience the boat making and Fishing net weaving activities. With this nature safari, you will be accompanied by a village leader. Visitors can also have village Lunch with community based initiatives.
Mangalazodirepresents many fish species including, Khainga(Mullet), Cat Fish, Kanna, Kokill or Anchovy, Rice Fish, Panchax, Puffer Fish, Acher Fish, Climbing Perch, Dwarf Gourami, Eleotridae fish, Glass Fish, Pipe Fish, Mud Skipper etc.
Experience with the villagers of Mangalazodi; learn the basics of how to build a small fishing boat, stitching fishing net or bamboo basket making. You can also try your hands at pottery. Day 04 –Mangalazodi – Daringbadi
Early morning transfer to Daringbadi. Daringbadi is a Hill station of Odisha & a popular destination for nature lovers for it beauty & virginity. The hill station is full with Pine Jungles, Coffee gardens, rain forest & infinite landscapes. Daringbadi is popularly called ‘Kashmir of Odisha’ situated at a height of 915 meter in Kandhamal Districts. This is the only place in Odisha where you can experience Snow fall in winter. It is also famous for ginger harvesting. On arrival check into hotel for rest, then visit Pine jungle & Coffee garden. Overnight stay at Daringbadi.( Total km 270)
Day 05 –Daringbadi
After breakfast full day enjoy at Daringbadi, visit-
Ginger harvesting farm
Black pepper and Turmeric gardens
Jack Fruit Farm
Overnight stay at Eco Cottage Daringbadi managed by villagers.( Total km70)
Day 06 –Daringbadi – Baliguda
After breakfast, visit Baliguda to meet the tribal people known as the KutiaKandha. Then visit to nearest Dhokra Village to see the dhokra craft and the process of making dhokra craft. Visiting local tribal market ( depending on availability) Overnight stay at Baliguda.( Total km 100)
Day 07 – Baliguda – Lamtaput (Must be on Wednessday)
Morning transfer to Rayagada, enroute visit Saura/Kanda Village, ChatikonaDongariaKondha market:BisamKatak, Lunch at Rayagada. 1 pm transfer to Lamtaput. ( Total Km 320)
Day 08 – Lamtaput - Anukudelli - Lamtaput (Must be Thursday)
Morning transfer to AnukudelliBonda and Desia Tribal market, on the way visit Machkund water fall and afternoon come back to Lamtaput. Rest of the day free for your own activity, overnight at Desia village cottage.( Total km 150)
Day 09 – Lamtaput
Full day tribal village visit, forest trekking, local folk dance, local cuisine & many more village activities.Overnight at Lamtaput, Desia village cottage.
Day 10 - Lamtaput – Visakhapatnam – Delhi
Morning transfer to Vishakhapatnam Airport for board on flight to Delhi. Welcome on arrival by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Free time to explore Delhi Haat. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day11- Delhi – Depart
Early in the morning transfer to the international airport for board your flight to back your home. End of our services.
